×Funded by the European Union’s PEACE IV Programme, the Department for Communities in Northern Ireland, and with matched funding provided by the Department of Rural and Community Development in Ireland this innovative project will be the first Shared Women’s Centre located at a key Interface area in Northern Ireland.
Led by Belfast City Council this project hopes to offer a shared space serving women and families of diverse communities. Facilities are to include a Welcome Space, Multi-purpose Main Hall, Bespoke Childcare Social Enterprise, Sensory room, Education and training areas, Health and Wellbeing Rooms, Staff Offices and Meeting space, Youth Units, alongside Peace Building Network rooms.
