Planning Submitted for TCD’s New Innovation Hub

Exciting news as planning for Trinity College Dublin’s new Innovation Hub has been submitted.

As the first phase of Dublin’s €1 billion Grand Canal Quay Innovation District, we are delighted to have been a part of the team in helping reach this milestone with IN2 providing full Mechanical, Electrical & Environmental design.

The Innovation Hub proposes the refurbishment and extension of warehouse facilities and adjacent tower building located at Trinity East. These structures are to become linked by to provide a state-of-the-art facility and creative public realm for entrepreneurs, start-ups and innovation teams from large corporates.

This project is early activation of Trinity College Dublin’s 2.2-hectare technology campus located at Grand Canal Quay. An area of Dublin known for its historic industrial ties and home to what will be the Grand Canal Innovation District, dubbed Ireland’s ‘Silicon Docks’.

We are very pleased to work once again with Trinity College and to help develop this exciting new area of the city.
