×The Finnieston development has been unanimously approved by planners in Glasgow as it meets the requirements of section 7 of the building standards technical handbook and achieves a rating of “Gold” as per the CDP5 requirements and was presented in support of the full planning application.
Finnieston is a residential development consisting of 2 blocks and a total of 411 dwellings. Across two new urban blocks, the scheme proposes 394 homes including studios, I, 2 and 3 bed apartments and maisonettes. Residents will have access to 3,500 square metres of private amenity space across podiums, roof space, balconies and internal rooms including dining rooms, workspaces, cinema rooms, greenhouses and allotments.
IN2 have been appointed to design the developments ambitious energy strategy. To achieve "Gold" within the CDP5 requirements the building must achieve a minimum of 27% reduction in CO2 targets with a minimum of 20% of this being as a result of the use of Low and Zero Carbon Generating Technologies.
