Did you know that 1 in 4 people will experience poor mental health at some point in their lives and that stress in the workplace can be one of the largest contributors to this?

As part of World Mental Health Day 2019, this morning we treated our teams to breakfast. During a half hour break from the office, we took the time to enjoy some food and each others company. It’s so important for our mental well-being to remember to get together with the people we spend so much time with.

Make sure you’re looking out for colleagues, it is important for employers to acknowledge and deal with the adverse impact that some aspects of work can have on employees’ mental health. Talking to someone is the first step to getting help and support, even just a chat over a cup of tea and a piece of cake can make all the difference 🙂
